The governments of Alberta and Canada are beginning to promote COVID-19 vaccination for children aged 5 to 11 years old.
Children in that age group have a 99.997% recovery rate from COVID-19.
Normally a vaccine needs years of testing for safety before being approved .
Under normal circumstances this vaccine would not be approved until 2023 .
We have had one COVID death in Alberta in that age group in 18 months at the peak of the pandemic, and even this case is disputable.
The Government of Alberta has recently admitted to have mis-ascribed COVID as cause of death for a 14-year-old terminal cancer patient - apparently in hopes of inciting fear in parents of young children, and the need to vaccinate children.
The vaccine has caused myocarditis (inflammation of the heart muscle ) in children of this age group .VAERS reports Myocarditis rates in the age range of 12 to 15 as being 19 times higher among vaccinated volunteers than the average for this age group. Six individuals, two of which were under 20 (their test group went up to the age of 23), died in the testing.
We, as Alberta residents deeply committed to the wellbeing of our children and grand-children, request the following :
WHEREAS, the statistics on the severity of infection for COVID-19 toward youth in the age range of 5-18 are so statistically insignificant that they are dwarfed even by the reporting of vaccine reactions, both domestically and globally;
WHEREAS, vaccinations are VERY costly to the public, accounting for billions of tax dollars, and should not be purchased with public funds unless it can be demonstrated that the expense is mitigating some other social or fiscal cost (which current statistics will not support);
WHEREAS, the current available vaccines are being reported by medical authorities to be so temporary in their benefit that any partaker is being unwittingly enrolled in a potentially permanent regiment of "boosters "-which amplify both the financial costs and the potential for vaccine reactions;
Be it RESOLVED that ;
We oppose any further attempts of our governments-federally and provincially- to impose or even encourage vaccination for school-aged children .
If further attempts are made to impose vaccination on school-aged children, this petition may be followed with legal action, funded by the undersigned.
