Pioneer Square, Seattle's nationally recognized historic district, is threatened by new construction that will change the livability and lovability of this unique neighborhood. This massive 135 foot, 11-story structure is entirely out of scale and out of character with the abundance of notable buildings in the National Register of Historic Places.
We must stop this development and "Save Our Square.”

We, the undersigned, wish to preserve the distinctive character of Pioneer Square, Seattle’s featured district in the National Register of Historic Places. We treasure the diverse architectural styles of buildings created after the Great Fire of 1889 that have contributed directly to a special place in which to live, work and play.
We oppose the construction of a massive building at 316 Alaskan Way. This out-of-scale structure will be a blight on the character and soul of Pioneer Square, a hallmark in our local and national history.
