The Bank of Scotland has announced it will close its branch in Lochgelly on February 27, 2018 because more customers are banking online.
But the Lochgelly branch - which is the last bank in town - has many elderly and disadvantaged customers; the very people who would find it hardest to travel to the next nearest branch in Cowdenbeath.
Delegating support via the Post Office is simply not good enough. Taxpayers bailed BOS out. It owes us – big time.
Please sign this petition asking the Bank of Scotland to halt the closure and save the branch's services.
