In early 1990s, our Canadian Prime Minister gave the once a Military Base, CFB Downsview, to the people of Canada as a park to be enjoyed as a park for future generations.
Some 12 years later and after many legal transfer of ownership of arms length government agencies the park is now in danger to be transformed in housing and other building developments, causing a huge loss of greenspace in Toronto, and environmently impacting local or Toronto wide air.
This is a park that also has historic value to canadian aviation and to the Armed Forces.
