Freedom of movement Trinidad and Tobago citizens stranded in the United States of America in accordance with article 2 of the universal declaration of human rights
"Everyone is entitled to all the rights and freedoms set forth in this Declaration, without distinction of any kind, such as race, colour, sex, language, religion, political or other opinion, national or social origin, property, birth or other status. Furthermore, no distinction shall be made on the basis of the political, juris- dictional or international status of the country or territory to which a person belongs, whether it be independent, trust, non-self-governing or under any other limitation of sovereignty".

The trappings were not just legal, the trappings were psychological, the trappings were sociological in terms of the breaking up of our families, the trappings led to a destruction of trust limited rescue from our government . We are pleading to be reunited with our loved ones and would comply to the measures implemented to follow upon our return .
