Banning different clothing articles in school that are not a problem.
Recently NSD has banned yoga pants and sweat pants. I've heard that there are rumors about boots and skinny jeans being banned as well. This is unfair.
What is wrong with them? I understand that some people wear them inappropriately, but why punish a whole district for certain individuals' actions? We should be able to wear whatever we want to school (as long as it's appropriate) and not get yelled at for it. School is a place for learning not a place to tell people what they can and can't wear.
The style and type of clothing we wear will not change bullying, fighting, or 'gangs' If people wear clothing appropriately, and wear the sizes they are supposed to, then there isn't an issue.
Instead of banning the clothing all together, ban wearing stuff that is too baggy or way too tight. Who's with me?
