In December of 2001, after pleading guilty to a molestation and murder of an 11 year old boy, Joel Apolonar was
sentenced to a lifetime in jail with no chance of parole.
Joel contends that he was offered bad counsel, and was therefore unaware of his sentence.
We, the family of Joel Apolonar, would like for there to be declared a mistrial and have him given a new *fair* trial in a court of law.
