The constitution for Australia was established as The Constitution of The Commonwealth of Australia on 1st January, 1901.
At some, as yet unknown time after November, 1993, it was re-titled Australian Constitution. However, as this was done: -
(a) without the approval of the Australian electors;
it has no constitutional authority and is illegal.
Section 128 of the constitution stipulates that no changes can be made to the constitution without the approval of the Australian electors; and this includes any changes to the title thereof.
We the undersigned ask that our constitution be re-named to The Constitution of The Commonwealth of Australia.
