We all know the QLD Government has restricted the capacity of Suncorp from 52,000 to 39,000. This is unavoidable and 25% of the crowd must be culled. I feel that Members of the 2 clubs involved be entitled to a ticket before anyone else.
This is after all, A Brisbane based final featuring 2 Sydney teams. South Sydney have about 3,500 members in Qld. Whilst Penrith probably has less. Now if the NRL simply restrict the amount of tickets that can be bought as a member from 8 down to 4, then we can allocate 25-27k for members only. the remaining 12-14k tickets should then be given to the first 75%.
If this was another team competing(not my own) and I had tickets that were refunded, I would be disappointed for sure, but I'd understand If people have to miss out it shouldn't be fans of the teams involved.
We, the undersigned, call on the NRL to Give the members of South Sydney and Penrith exclusive ticketing rights before culling 25% regardless of when a ticket was purchased!
