If you watch the show charmed, you should know that Prue died and Piper and Phoebe found out that they had another sister- Paige. Once Prue died, at the funeral, Piper tried to contact Prue, but Prue wasn't allowed to come down to talk to her because it was too soon. They never tried to summon her ever again.
I think that it would be awesome if they brought Prue back- not forever, just for a little while. Even ONE episode. It would be great!!!
