Year after year Philadelphia schools are forced to cut down education hours, therefore our children aren't getting the exact amount of learning hours in a day, the heat unbearable for children to learn because they are hot, irritable, some students have medical issues such as asthma. Extreme heat causes headaches as well as heat rashes. The philadelphia school district is aware that it is extremely hot in aug/sept then starts to get hot again in the months of may . Yet they have failed to get the proper cooling system for our children.
I am asking all parents with children in the philadelphia school system to please sign this petition so we can get air conditioning for the schools.
