Biffa Waste Services, who operate the Redhill Refuse tip have applied to Surrey County Council to further expand its waste operations at Cormongers Lane site in Redhill to process up to 29,000 tonnes of contaminated soil – including hazardous waste.
We the undersigned urge Surrey County Council to reject the application from Biffa Waste Services to further expand its waste operations at Cormongers Lane site in Redhill to process up to 29,000 tonnes of contaminated soil – including hazardous waste.
We believe that the residents of Redhill have already suffered more than enough from the smell and noise from the site and that further expansion of the site to process contaminated soil would further threaten the health, well-being and visual amenity of local residents.
