Friends of Caribou Island is a group dedicated to the preservation of the Caribou Island light. There has been a lighthouse on the island since 1868 and its 150th anniversary is coming up in 2018! Help protect and preserve this iconic symbol by joining this "Petition of Support".
This cultural heritage landmark deserves to be preserved and protected for future generations to enjoy and respect.
We, the undersigned, support the "Friends of Caribou Island" in their efforts to preserve the Caribou Island Lighthouse which has been a part of Pictou County's culture and heritage since 1868.
