Please bring a Big W to Ulladulla!

To the Director of Big W, I am writing to you to ask for you to please consider setting up a small format Big W store in Ulladulla, NSW 2539. We the town folk of the district forwarded a petition of over 1000 signatures imploring this to occur in our town instead of at that time a proposed Woolworths store which was going to be detrimental to already established businesses.

See the link below for the online petition (which was only 1/10 of the signatures of the hard copy which was sent through): Big W for Ulladulla Petition The Woolworths developement has been completed and as we had forseen the Franklins store has closed down as have a couple of butchers which all have been in town for more than a decade. This has seen many become unemployed, which we also had foreseen.

Now again I am going to ask you to consider, taking over the Franklins premises which encompasses one of the largest council carparks in the area. We have seen a Rivers store open in the old Bunnings store, they did a six month trial and have gone well & have permanently opened as has Target Country which can't keep up with sales. This is where Big W could pick up the short fall and excel in our town. Please give Ulludulla a go?
