Salina is a small town in Westmoreland County that consists of a school, a post office, a fire departmnent, and a local bar.
This petition is to act on getting a playground in our area for the children of Salina.
The park that is there now is unmaintained and the equipment is unsafe for anyone in the community.
We, the citizens of Salina, would like to have a playground put in our town for the children and generations of children that are in need of some local activities.
The park that is there now is unmaintained and not safe for our kids to play. There is nothing else in this town to occupy our children. So we are asking that something be done about it.
