This petition has been set up with an aim to demonstrate to the BBC that putting the repeat of Match of the Day on at 7.40am on a Sunday morning is completely pointless due to the fact that the same people who miss it in a Saturday night because they're likely to be out until late also aren't going to be up at 7.40 the following morning to watch the repeat.
I personally rarely watch the BBC but fork out £140 for my tv license so the least that I expect is to be able to watch one of my favourite programmes at a reasonable time.
We, the undersigned, call on the BBC to put the Sunday morning repeat of Match of The Day on at 9am at the earliest so viewers who miss it the night before don't miss it again the following morning.
