Thanks everyone. We got the ordinance on the agenda, as I indicated earlier, and expect it to be ready for adoption in Oct council meeting. I will attend a council staff meeting where further discussions on the contents of the ordinance will be discussed. This evening's meeting went extremely smoothly and everything looks to be on track. Thanks to all!
Amend Town of Cross Roads Code of Ordinances to incorporate Animal Control language into the Town of Cross Roads Code of Ordinances, Chapter 2: Animal Control.
Currently Chapter 2: Animal Control is blank and marked Reserved for Future Use. This petition is to support the action to add language for animal control similar to those attached, that our immediate and nearby neighboring communities, like Krugerville, Aubrey, Pilot Point, Little Elm, Denton, Tioga, Celina, and Whitesboro have incorporated into their respective municipal Code of Ordinances.
We, the undersigned, are concerned citizens who urge our leaders to act now to incorporate language for Animal Control being added into the Cross Roads, TX Code of Ordinances, Chapter 2: Animal Control to protect the public health, safety and welfare of the town.
