We the people, lawful residents of the Great State of Kentucky, categorically reject any pretense that gun control laws deter criminals from possessing or using guns to commit crimes.
We believe that gun control laws only serve to unduly restrict law-abiding Missouri resident's God-given right to defend themselves from violent criminals.
By signing this document, we hereby petition the Kentucky State Legislature (House and Senate) to amend the Kentucky State Constitution in such a way that it protects and exempts Kentucky residents within Kentucky State borders from any and all current and future U.S. Federal gun control legislation that is more restrictive than Kentucky State law.
