Petition Demanding Ms. Tait be kept on in the Africentric Alternative School Kindergarten Class 2014-10-14

We the parents of the Africentric Alternative School kindergarten class demand that Ms. Tait be kept on as one of the Full time teachers for the Kingergarden class.
We are demanding that Ms. Tait be kept on to ensure that the kindergarden class continues with regular programming.
Of course, our children’s learning is a team effort, between parents and teachers. As parents our job is to ensure that our children continue to have every opportunity for growth and success.
We are truly very concern with the decision by the school to let Ms. Tait go at this point in time.
This is very discerning to the parents of the kindergarten class. We all can agree that consistency plays a big role in the well being of our children.
WITH THAT BEING SAID NOW.
IT IS NOT IN THE BEST INTEREST OF OUR CHILDREN FOR MS. TAIT TO LEAVE
Mr Dai has been absent since last week and by letter received from the Principal J Lattie of the Africentric Alternative School today dated 14/10/2014 Mr Dei will be replaced by Ms. Yolando Watson, an occasional teacher.
Now since his absences, there have been a number of non African teachers paraded through the class like CIRQUE DU SOLEIL in the space of that week. Which we can say has been very unproductive l confusing for the kids.
The only consistency our children have seen is Ms Tait. Ms. Tait has been with the Africentric School for many years and knows the regular programming and has very great rapport with the parents and students.
Ms Tait has proven time and time again that she is more than just a teacher to our kids.
We have seen firsthand the effect she has on the children. The children respect and response to her.
Ms. Tait is a very valuable piece of the puzzle that makes up our Africentric Alternative School.
Ms. Tait is too valuable to lose.
Therefore we the parents of the Kindergarten class make this petition to demand that Ms. Tait be kept on in whatever position suits best with our children.
