A recent photo circulating on Facebook shows an effigy of President Obama with a noose around his neck. In the background there is an indication that this racist expression was done onsite of a business reported to be in Orlando Florida.
We the undersigned are calling on Shell Oil Company or the parent company Royal Dutch Shell to publicly acknowledge and apologize for the incendiary expression of racism displayed at at least one corporate owned or franchise locations in the state of Florida.
We also request that severe disciplinary actions be taken against the owner or management of the establishment. We agree that acceptable actions would be considered as termination of management or revocation of franchisee licensing or any other authorization which would allow the specific location to continue doing business as a part of the Shell Oil Company or The Royal Dutch Shell Company as a parent company.
