Perpetuating Hawaiian Culture Through Boarding

As a Hawaiian School, the students should have more Hawaiian practices available for them to participate in. The boarding community should have more opportunities to perpetuate the Hawaiian culture. For example, hui games should be replaced with cultural games such as ʻulu maika, moa paheʻe, kukini, etc. The undersigned believe that hui should be changed to cultural games because it allows boarders to have an opportunity to be more involved in the Hawaiian culture.
