The people of Chicago were not involved in the decision to pursue the Olympics and do not want the financial and human rights cost that comes with the Olympic games.
We, the undersigned, do not support the efforts of the unelected Chicago 2016 bid committee to the bring the Olympics to Chicago.
We will oppose all efforts to bring the Olympic Games to Chicago and, if the International Olympic Committee chooses Chicago to host the Games, we will actively oppose all legislative efforts to provide direct or indirect funding for the games.
