Everybody has its own music taste, some of them like metal rock, ballads, R&B, orchestral music, hip hop and so much more, some music heals us, some are giving us positive energ, and some are helping us express how and what we feel. So we must respect their music taste as we respect our own. We don't necessarily need to listen on what the others music taste are, we just need to let them listen on what they like without any bad opinions about their music taste and also them
There are some people who experiencing a discrimination about their music taste, and there are some who receives hurtful words because of it. In today's generation, we mostly we often just keep up with the trend, like what is trending then it's only it just like in music, if your music taste is not so popular there are some points that you may receive some bad opinions from the others, for example when you like rock or metal rock, they will think that you're a bad person or something, when you like kpop they would probably ask you 'Why are you listening to kpop you don't even understand them?' and so much more. For me there is nothing wrong if you try a new flavor in music, you don't have to follow the trend and stick with that, you're free to listen to any type of songs you want specially if no one is getting hurt or can't harm others.
