Man's buns allowed

The man bun has been around for thousands of years. In ancient times men would often wore there hair up when they were doing activities or if it was hot outside. If a women with the same length hair can put there hair up I should be allowed to also. How is men having there hair up a distraction verses women having there hair up. I've seen girls put there hair up and take it down ten times which is way more distracting than a boy putting once and leaving it alone.
