College tuition is much too expensive and it is preventing people from getting a higher education. Something must be done to encourage people that college is for everyone and anyone can pay back their loans after graduation.
We, the undersigned, call for immediate action to make college more affordable. We believe that students who get better grades should be rewarded by paying less for their education.
We agree that if a student’s GPA is between a 4.0 and a 3.5 the student should only have to pay back 40% of their loans. A GPA between a 3.5 and a 3.0 a student should have to pay 60%. A GPA between 2.7 and 3.0 should have to pay back 75% and anything lower than a 2.7 the student pays back 100% of the loans they take out.
