The members of Congress are supposed to represent the people. However, their terms should be limited to 2 terms just as the President's term is limited because if they make a career out of politics, they lose objectivity about who they are there to represent.
They get too involved in the "you scratch my back, I'll scratch yours" mentality and only do what benefits them. Therefore, the American people suffer.
We, the undersigned, call on the US Government to limit the number of terms that members of the Senate and House of Representatives can serve to the same as the President. Their terms should be no different than the Leader of the Free World.
By allowing them to continually run and make a career out of pollitics, they lose sight of who they are supposed to be representing and the American people suffer needlessly.
