We've all seen how much revenue can be generated from the legal sale of marijuana. Not only would you be giving cancer patients, our veterans who suffer from PTSD, and many others something that helps but also provide jobs and more revenue from taxes to make our state better. It's going to be legal nationwide eventually, as Canada has done already. Crime rates will significantly drop and will free up our law enforcement to pursue far more important crimes. Colorado is pulling in millions in added tax revenue from marijuana sales and have already bettered their state. We have the opportunity to do the same but we have to act.
We the people of the great state of Alabama ask that marijuana be legalized recreationally statewide.
