Carolina Beach allows dogs on leash to be on the beach before 8am and after 6pm for the summer months, People who sign this petition are asking for the same rules at Kure Beach. Pet owners and people who want to walk dogs on the beach should not be penalized for people not following the rules. We believe if the town raises the rates to $500 for not picking up dog waste and for having dogs off leash people will follow the rules. Having the dogs on the beach before 8am still allows everyone to enjoy an animal free beach day from 8am until 6pm.
We the undersigned who support the town of Kure Beach and it’s businesses request that dogs be allowed on the beach before 8am and after 6pm during the summer months.
