The single children's play apparatus that was included in the recent upgrade of Manly Bayside Park is a large climbing net which is suitable for kids over five only.
The old park did, however, have an unshaded play gym with a slide and other items that were suited to younger children.
Now there is nowhere for the younger kids to play at Manly and parents are being forced to travel to Wynnum or Lota.
We, the undersigned, call on the Brisbane City Council to install a shaded play gym area at Manly Bayside Park, which is suitable for children under five years of age.
