INSTAGRAM. LET US REPORT ANIMAL ABUSE.
I was scrolling through Instagram today when I came across a video of a boy THROWING a live hamster.
I tried to report it as Violence, but Instagram responded to my report saying it did not violate any rules.
Obviously this is a HUGE problem.
Insta needs to let us REPORT ANIMAL ABUSE.
In December 2017, Instagram took its first step towards decreasing Animal Cruelty/Abuse. When you search hashtags related to images that could possibly involve animal cruelty or abuse, such as #KoalaSelfie, a message pops up telling you the media you're looking at could feature animal abuse.
Instagram needs to go further, and allow us to finally REPORT pictures and videos of animal abuse; because animal abuse should have no place on Instagram, and no place in the world.
