In 2007 Kelly Rowland released her second solo album 'Ms Kelly' after a wait of four years by her loyal fans. The album did not disappoint and a number of the songs such as 'Work', 'Comeback', 'Like This, 'Love' and, in particular, 'Still In Love With My Ex', combined to make the album a favourite of many fans.
Sadly the record failed to make much of an impact, underperforming in the US and the UK. However Kelly's label did not give up on her and are re-releasing the album in the UK with new single 'Daylight', and following from the massive success of 'Work'.
However, the re-release has cut a number of the fan favourites from the tracklist - 'Ghetto' and 'Comeback', for which videos exist already and thus could be used as future singles if they were included - but most notably 'Still In Love With My Ex'. The song was a massive fan favourite from the word go; an early poll asking for the second single to be chosen was won by 'Comeback' but 'Still In Love' came extremely close.
With this petition we loyal fans, who will continue to support Kelly Rowland and wish her to achieve the success she truly deserves, ask her and her record label to consider re-adding 'Still In Love With My Ex' to the re-release of the Ms Kelly album in the UK.
This is not just because if the album sells well this time around the new buyers deserve to hear this absolute gem of a song, although that is a factor - it is also because it is by far the album's most radio-friendly song and it has the potential to be a global smash hit and really further the album's success and Kelly's solo career - if it is included on the album.
So, on behalf of every fan who signs this, please can you at Columbia and/or Sony, reconsider adding 'Ex' to the tracklist.
