Over the years, BTS has helped many ARMY with their music/songs. On a personal note, BTS has helped me with problems of my own as they have helped cheer me up and smile when I didn't feel I could. In potentially 1 years time, Kim Seokjin will have to enlist in the Korean military and the 6 other members (Min Yoongi, Jung Hoseok, Kim Namjoon, Park Jimin, Kim Taehyung and Jeon Jungkook) will follow after. It is compulsory in Korea for men (ages 18-30) to do at least 2 years of service in the military - even if they are an idol, like BTS are. With them all at different ages, after 'Jin leaves in let's say 2020, BTS won't be a complete band again until at least 2028. 8 years without BTS would be a pain for ARMY's
I'm not asking for the whole Korean laws for military aspects to be changed to give leeway for BTS. I'm simply suggesting that If you sign this petition it would mean all 7 members could enlist together which will only mean that fans have to wait only 2 years for BTS to come back as band.
To us ARMY's, BTS are more than just a kpop band to us. They refer to their fans as the ARMY. After hearing news on Kim Seok-jin having to enlist soon, me and my friends came to a realisation that BTS won't be making music videos and performing until they all return. After Jin comes back from his enlisting the other members will leave for the enlisting one by one. According to information online, BTS will make their next come back in at least 2028, or in 2026 if 3 members enlist together.
If you sign this petition it would mean all of the 7 members could enlist together which will only mean that fans have to wait only 2 years for BTS to create music and make us smile. PLEASE SIGN ARMYS!
