A call to expand centennial park playground.
The Cooma Monaro Shire has seen a variety of families and visitors arriving in Cooma over the years creating a variety of needs. Building an extra playground attached to the current one in centennial park as well as improving on the current equipment will help the community greatly in meeting these needs.
Centennial Park is an important part of the community being a central location that all tourist and locals enjoy
Installing new equipment for the disabled community and improving the quality of the existing facilities will allow all children the ability to play and grow as equals
The entire community should be able to enjoy what we have to provide in the park.
This call to expand and improve the existing facilities in the park and for the local businesses and local shire to get involved.
In my opinion and those of the community we believe that there is not adequate equipment for the disabled community and the current children that use these facilities
The community would like to see a wider range of updated equipment to cater for all children in the community and provide a safe place for all to play and parents to supervise.
We, the undersigned call on the Cooma- Monaro Shire Council to expand the local park to benefit all types of children and their parents in a safe and fun environment.
