Please help reduce a 50 year sentence given to Anthony Anderson as a juvenile for aggravated robbery, while there was a gun in his possession not one person was hurt, injured or killed. Does this justify a 50 year sentence with parole after 24 years, a sentence that ends in 2048, a sentence for a crime where no-one was hurt.

To: The Texas Board of Pardons and Paroles, Palestine Board Office

We, the undersigned, ask you to review the length of sentence given to Anthony Anderson for an aggravated robbery charge. The sentence handed down to Anthony we believe to be very extreme for the situation, while it was shown that there was a gun in his possession there was nobody hurt, injured or killed.

He was a child at the time of the incident, a teenager under peer pressure and the longing to fit in as part of the group, we ask you to take this into account when considering his sentence reduction.

Anthony has also done everything possible to better himself while serving his sentence, he has taken classes, worked hard at his jobs, stayed out of trouble and away from gang activity. He deserves a second chance.

We ask you to look at his character, achievements, strengths, his goals for the future and see that this immature and irresponsible teenager has grown up to be a hard working man with goals and dreams for the future. Please think of this as a deciding factor in reducing his sentence.
