hey guys... wanted to update this a bit.
let's bring this whole situation UP a tier. as in, let's focus on making APB Reloaded "better" for everyone. if that happens, everyone wins and everyone feels the positive result.
and as this whole thing started as something for The Pound Of Flesh... if you want to show specific support for pound, head over to his stream ;) in the meantime, you can help make APB a better place for everyone.
in signing this petition, you are letting your voice be heard on helping make APB Reloaded a more fair, non-toxic and welcoming environment. and remember, a petition is not a demand. it is simply a group showing unified support for a cause(s);
the main goal is simple...
- lay groundwork for all game community members and people wishing to game and stream in the world of APB Reloaded
3 primary steps for achievement...
1. enforce TOS violating behavior
- in-game
- streamers
2. enable anti-cheat that works
- fairfight is of strong consideration
- nothing like the one previously used by G1
- now owned and operated by Ubisoft
- focuses on player stats and heuristics
- you might run the game with a cheat, but your game play will give it away
3. release the engine update
- addresses many, many issues with UE 3
- shows continued support for the title
- excellent time to start anew
simply put, there is no place in gaming, nor in any social construct for what feels like unmoderated behavior. it is the responsibility of Little Orbit to provide a game environment of safe, fair competition. and, a responsibility of those playing in the APB environment to do so in a non-toxic, fair and legitimate way. awarding positive behavior while conversely punishing negative behavior; it's the fundamental way to make this change.
