Walking through Waterloo Park should not involve the heartbreaking sight of animals suffering for our entertainment. They have endured enough from the summer construction and winter music & light shows which pollutes their confined spaces. The ever growing population and the new rail system running alongside their cages is creating an environment so far from what they deserve that it's time they were put in a sanctuary where they can find peace again.
We, the undersigned, call on the Municipal Government of Waterloo Region to remove the cages and move the animals in Waterloo Park to a sanctuary where they can live out the rest of their lives in peace.
