Kim Davis a county clerk in Kentucky is refusing to do her job.

Since, June when the Sumpreme Court ruled that gay couples have a constitutional right to wed, Davis has asked to be excused from issuing marriage licenses to anyone on the grounds that licensing a same-sex marriage would violate her religious beliefs.

Judge Bunning sent Davis to jail for disobeying his order to give out marriage licenses. Her deputy clerks then issued marriage licenses to gay couples while Davis was in Jail. Davis has maintained that the marriage licenses are not valid because she didn't give them out.

Joe Davis, Kim's husband, had made it clear she would not resign from her $80,000 a year job.

Getting rid of a county clerk is not easy. Davis is an elected official, so she would have to be impeached by the state legislature.

Sending her to jail will not stop her malicious actions.
Kim Davis is loving being in the Media.
She needs to be fired or impeached for NOT doing her job.
It is not her job to impose her religious views on others, but to uphold the law regardless of whether or not she agrees with it.
