It seems, that in the UK, a mother can take a child away from the father without any problems what so ever, the aim of this petition is to ask the UK Government to give the fathers full rights as the mother.
At present the Mother can remove the child from the father and not be done for Kidnapping, however if the father takes the child away from the mother, the father can be arrested for kidnapping, the aim of this petition to get the law changed, so that should a mother take a child away from the father that the mother can be arrested and charged with kidnapping.
We, the undersigned, call upon the UK Government to rethink the law on Fathers' Rights and have in place a law so the mother can be arrested for kidnapping when they take the child away from a non abusive father (e.g. just because they no longer want to be in a relationship with the birth father).
