Seven people lost their lives, five of which were in the same family in the apartment building fire located at 77-85 Branch Street, Lowell, Massachusetts on July 10, 2014. The building was demolished on July 28, 2014.
On behalf of the fire victim families, we, the community wants to erect a monument on the site to memorialize those who lost their lives and those who survive the inferno.
We, the undersigned, ask the City, the Mayor, the City Manager, the City Councils of Lowell, MA and the building owner to help us fulfill this request.
