We. the undersigned, call for...
1. Women to be treated as the equals of men, not as possessions, sex objects or powerless partners.
2. Complaints of sexual attack and/or rape to be handled sensitively, investigated seriously, and not be dismissed out of hand.
3. Women's property to be protected from fraud and theft, especially by Turkish boyfriends.
4. The Turkish police and authorities to listen sympathetically to complaints from British women.
