The Sweetwater Texas chapter of the Jaycees started a rattlesnake round up as a means of inhibiting the chance of a bite from a rattlesnake on their selves or on their livestock.
Today however they collect 4 species of rattlesanke and destroy them for enjoyment and make a mockery of this murder by having a parade and boasting 125,000 tons of sankes killed to date.
This petition is to stop the unethical treatment of these animals for the entertainment of a few people and stop the display of disregard towards any living thing.
