Today it became known that the service known as aardvark, located at vark.com, will be taken down at the end of September because of the shutdown of Google Labs.
We the people of the WORLD consider the removal of aardvark a threat to knowledge and our way of life.
Aardvark (vark.com) is a fast, simple and excellent way to spread knowledge, ask questions, and meet new people. Its removal should be a crime against humanity.
Either it should still be apart of google, a stand alone project, or the source code of aardvark should be made public so that someone can come along and restart the aardvark project.
