All levels of human services is tantamount to family stability, safety and health in any community. Every year thousands of people receive critical life sustaining supports in Lake Stevens through the great local resource outlets available to families in need.
The City of Lake Stevens is considering suspension of City funding of human services in our community; funding that helps sustain the organizations that provide these services.
Please have your voice heard by our elected officials and City Staff as to the importance of the City's continued support of Human Services in our community.
The City of Lake Stevens has always had the best interest of the residents of our community as its first and foremost priority. By recognizing that a government "for the people" means ALL of our neighbors regardless of abilities, capabilities, social and/or economic status.
Our community is stronger, safer and more sustaining because of our City's level of support to those in need. Please continue to support the organizations that provide critical and life sustaining supports to our residents in need by continuing to fund the Human Service Grant funding in our community.
