I am so saddened by my friends and colleagues who do not see the sexism and disrespect we engender and embody (unintentional puns!) when men and women undervalue the issue differences and quality of candidates Hillary Clinton and Bernie Sanders because they want to see the first woman president.
This is embarrasing and devaluing SEXISM when we do not choose the candidate who will best represent the interests of women, because there is someone less committed to our needs, but we choose based on sex.
Secretary Clinton has stated explicitly that she expects our votes and expects to win - rather than planning to protect us from wars that will kill our children and from financial institutions that will wipe out our savings.
Do not vote or encourage voting on the basis of sex.
