I started a post about my son's bullying situation on the bus in Paulding county. The responses were overwhelming in numbers by parents in our same situation: bullying on buses in our county and the school's underwhelming responses. I would like to propose that monitors be placed on all buses to encourage the prevention of these situations and an available quick response when incidences occur to allow the driver to do the job they need to concentrate on; driving safely.
We, the concerned parents of our Paulding county students, call to the Board of Education to place bus monitors on all buses in our county to encourage the prevention of bullying incidences and to be a quick response to incidences as needed thus allowing the drivers to do their primary job, driving, ultimately providing a safer environment for all.
