The Grand Hotel/Public House has recently acquired new management who have deemed it necessary to alter many factors that once made this place an excellent venue to have a good night out with friends.
After a fairly successful campaign on facebook I feel it possible to attempt an online petition to restore this Public House to its Glory Days.
We, the undersigned, call on the management of the Grand Hotel/Public House to return said venue to what it once was. A fun and lively place to enjoy yourself with friends. Please refrain from using pointless methods like Karaoke and DJ's to increase numbers when surely you must have noticed are actually reducing numbers.
There once was a time when a couple of hundred people would frequent these premises an Friday and Saturday night and be extremely satisfied with the fantastic jukebox now you only attract 60-80 if you are lucky.
Perhaps also provide some adequate smoking facilities.
