We, as students, no longer wish to be caught in the middle of the negotiations between the BCTF and Provincial Government. We no longer wish to be used as pawns.
We are the future and we deserve a quality education at all times!We would also like it make it clear that we are neutral in the negotiation process between the BCTF and Provincial Government.
We are fighting for ourselves and our right to education!
We, as students of public schools in British Columbia, no longer wish to be involved in the issues between the BC Teachers’ Federation and the Provincial Government of British Columbia. We have a right to education and we are the future.
We do not want to miss anymore school, extracurricular activities, or be deprived of the necessary assistance for our learning including extra support with school work outside of regular class time, the opportunity to write final exams and receive our report cards.
We request that the Provincial Government of BC and the BCTF resolve their issues without involving the students. Depriving the students of BC of our education helps no one! We are not interested in the outcome of the negotiations.
We only ask that the quality of education that we had previously been receiving be maintained throughout and after the negotiation process. We trust that both parties have the ability to come to a reasonable compromise without involving the students of BC.
