The play offs are justified by the fact that they make extra money and prolong the interest in the season for any teams placed in mid-table positions.
However, for the fans, they cause largely heartbreak and an extra month of football-induced nerves.
We, the undersigned, call on the FA to allocate the last promotion spot in all leagues to the team that finishes in the top play off spot and end all play off related disappointment once and for all.
