AFL Queensland has decided to continue with an 11 team competition in State Association Division 2 for Season 2011. Whilst the roster is yet to be released, it will no doubt be the same as season 2010 where each club will have 2 byes (and miss out on much needed revenue from home games) and only play a total of 16 home and away games during the usual 18 round season.
This is a petition for AFL Queensland to increase the rounds from 18 to a minimum of 20 so that players, supporters and officials can enjoy at least 18 games per club!
We, the undersigned, call on AFL Queensland to increase the rounds in State Association Division 2 from 18 to a minimum of 20 in season 2011.
