There is currently no public pool or available swimming lessons for kids this summer. Most kids don't even have a library card or know about things that are available to them. Even most people who have lived here their whole lives aren't knowledgeable of parish meetings. Most kids that are in summer programs either have connections or are told about it from friends. If more kids were in summer and school activities there would be a lot less trouble because they would be busy. Being able to help out in the community could not only make it better but teach them valuable life skills.
We, as a community want a healthy and flourishing environment for all kids to become the best they can be. The parish could do tons more to help lesser peoples get their kids almost the same opportunities as others.
